Seven Measures is a privately held proprietary investment firm. We operate exclusively with internal capital, allowing the firm to pursue research and investment decisions without external fundraising, client mandates, or short-term asset-gathering incentives.
The firm is accountable to its own balance sheet. That constraint sets the pace of the work and the standard applied to it: positions are sized by conviction rather than by mandate, and time horizons are chosen rather than inherited.
It is a private company, and intends to stay one.
The firm has no outside investors to report to, and no quarter to dress. What remains is the quality of the reasoning.
